Hi everyone. I'm an american student going to Tehran for a summer internship. My father is Iranian but I have never been and don't speak much Farsi. I am looking for a place to live during June and July. If there is any kind of student housing or a service to rent a room with a family, that would be great. Please let me know if anyone knows of how I should go about trying to rent a room. I would like to be as close to the city center as possible. Thanks, Azar

How are you ? Can you speak Farsi ? if you can then you don't have any problem to find a house for rent. Of cousre you know it's not easy to get house or apartment for just two months. All of them are rented for at least one year. But you can find it in house agancies in tehran. But if you want to use a student house or renting a room you should look at news papers. It's a difficult to find a cheap and clean place in center of tehran. It's better to saty in north. North of Tehran is much better with many nice parks and shops.
