hi im looking for the cheapest way to get to barcelona from santiago and then back. i dont care if its six days on a bus, i just need to get there for cheap!!! cheers :)

You're in luck ... Vueling recently added flights from Santiago to Barcelona - there are tickets between 50 to 100 Euro - down to 30 Euro in July, so it the fare depends on the date you're flying. Check www.vueling.com. They're a great Barcelona based airline, we've used them in hops from Milan to Barcelona, and Barcelona to Lisbon.

Nomad is right. Check www.alsa.es for buses (there are other companies, but this is the only I can remember now). Even with the special deals, probably flying is cheaper.

Even Iberia has a good deal for flying, 19 euro's each way + tax, totals to about 85 euro's.I doubt you will be cheaper on a bus or train. You do have to book early I guess and be flexible about the time of day you fly. good luck Eiskje
