I would like to visit my friend in Trier. I am in Aachen and searching bus connections to Trier. Could any one help me? Where can i find infos? Thanks |

There are no buses.
Apart from very very few connections there are no far distance buses at all in Germany.

Busse fahren in Deutschland eigentlich nicht. Nun mit nahverkehr zwischen Städte und Dörfen kann man Normalerweise mit dem Bus fahren. Es ist wahrscheinlich am Besten, wenn du mit dem Zug fahrst.
Buses arent usually used in Germany. You can normally only take buses on short trips between cities and nearby villages. It is probably better if you take the train. www.bahn.de

So how come the 4th company listed in the site given in my first answer says it runs the following bus connection Trier - Aachen and back?

Tja - man lernt nie aus.

Well bus companies can always set up routes if they are popular enough I guess. I just know for most places you are stuck taking the train, as there is no national bus line in germany.
