Newcastle upon Tyne Travel Forum

Hello all,

Just a quick question: A group of us are planning on heading to newcastle for the stag party of a friend of mine. None of us have been there before, so i was hoping that we could get some suggestions on where to go. It'll be the usual type of thing, a few drinks, abit of a laugh and an opportunity to give him a good send off before his wedding in July.

Any ideas on where to go? Any pointers to take into account.

I haven't been to Newcastle for a year or so on a night out, but the Quay Side always seems to be busy....there are plenty of bars down that way. So i would suggest that you definately go there for a could of drinks?

Hi there, I know nothing about Newcasle but am quite desperate to find out about living there. Are you able to put me in touch with your friend living there so I can get soem idea about cost of living in those parts?

By the way, I was wondering if there is anyplace that might be a good place to get a bite to eat in before heading out? I suppose that people do not eat as late as here (in BCN dinner is from 10pm on), but maybe it is the same?

Any restaurants that might be a good laugh? i hear there is a Baja Beach there....also there is one here in barcelona, is the same thing? Very popular here for stags/hens....could be a good choice

It is cheaper to live in Newcastle than in other parts of England.
We have everything here you could wish for (except the weather).
