we are looking to rent an apartment for one month in town or near town we stopped in la spezia only at train station but it looks like a nice drop off point we stayed in lucca for two months last may any suggestions will help thanks

Try the Homelidays website. The Cinque terre villages are close but it's probably cheaper to stay in La Spezia itself.
