I will be traveling to Omsk on next august and I'd like to rent a car to explore the surroundings and the region, probably going to Novosibirsk and back. I couldn't find any car rental agency online. Can anyone give me advice about this issue?
(Any other help about transportation and not-planned trips in that region will also be much appreciated) |

I tried to do a search in Russian, but didn't come up with much. Your best bet would be to contact your hotel's concierge service and ask them for references. The only other thing I could suggest is to go to www.intersib.ru or send them an email with your request for information at gnatko@intersib.ru. They are going to have an exhibition in September dedicated to autoservice. If they don't know about car rental agencies in Omsk, I don't know who will. The Intersib is located in Omsk. The site is in Russian, but since they do international exhibits, it should not be a problem to write in English.
