| Pompeii | English-speaking interpreters/guides Posted: Wed May 3, 2006 10:52 AM UTC
Hi -- Can anyone recommend someone who might be able to act as an interpreter during a trip to Pompeii? I'm going to be travelling there in mid-May to interview one of the archaeologists, who doesn't speak English (unfortunately, I don't speak Italian!) Any contacts much appreciated.

The South African Embassy in Rome (or Consultate in Naples if there's one)should have a list of interpreters they know. Hopefully they arent too expensive. I've used them from lists given to me from the U.S. Embassies/Consulates.
