I am planning to travel to Trapani for a weekend. But I am a 20 year old female as is my travel buddy and I am wondering if it is a safe place for us?

I've been last year for a week-end in Trapani and I haven't notice any danger. Any place could be safe and danger at the same time. I've been fine.
Sure better keep home Rolex and Bulgari's things, always.

Just be careful how you park the car there, local police give a lot of fines.

Ciao, I think Trapani is quite safe,but keep your bag always close to you and follow general safe behaviour..Ask always for prices,many taxi drivers, shops and restaurants try to cheat you.
There are many nice place around Trapani,but it is difficult to use public services because they work bad.Should be better by car.Are you by an organized tour?Remember that few people speak english in Sicily (worse than my bad english),except on hotel.Why trapani? Where are you from?I think you need more information about sicily because it is a particular place.Write to my personal email if you wish..

Very safe, also Trapani is very beautifull.
Its 10 times safer than Palermo for example.
