| Curaçao | Don't break a arm/leg Posted: Sat April 22, 2006 09:47 PM UTC
Hi everyone. Thinking about going to this wonderful island & was wondering if anyone could give me any info on hotels & airfares that won't cost me an arm & a leg? (like to keep those, hahaha). Price range for hotel would be $100.00 a night or cheaper, but must be on the beach. I've looked at Lion's Dive Resort...very nice for the buck. Anything better out there? Also looked at airfares from travelocity & air jamica. Anyone know of any other airlines that fly there for a cheaper rate?

Flying to the islands is not cheap. I assume you are flying from the US than indeed air jamaica and AA are the only options with regular flights. From Miami there are 2 flights a day and there is also a connection from puerto rico.
The air jamaica flight is not daily I think 2 to 3 times a week. If you are coming from Europe KLM or Arke Fly would be the options . Arke suppose to have the better deals. Lions Dive is an OK resort. Others that are on the beach Breezes (all inclusive), Holiday Beach, Kura Hulanda Lodge (not cheap and remote area but nice) Hubert
