I just looked on a swiss website and found a place in Engelberg for 89 swiss franc a night which also included a lift ticket as well as using the pool and climbing wall facilities. I was just going to stay at a hostel in Lucern and head on up to the mountains for a day trip but this sounded interesting. The hotel is Hotel Bellevue.
Thanks a lot for any advice on this. |

Engelberg is a great little village/town...definately worth staying there, and it has some gorgeous surrounding countryside!

If the ticket for the lift is a day pass for the area, this is a good deal, I think.
