| Würzburg | Pension Spehnkuch Posted: Thu April 20, 2006 11:20 PM UTC
Do you know if the hotel pension Spehnkuch in Wuerzburg is a good place to spend the night? It is across from the train station. They offered a 3 bed room for 75 euro. Thanks.

Sorry to reply so late, now June and you've probably been to Wurzburg already. But for anyone searching for a place to stay in Wurzburg, I've stayed at Spehnkuch a few times and always enjoyed it. The owner's a very friendly man who laughed at my poor German. Yes, recommend it. There's parking nearby, across the Friedensbrucke (bridge) which is just a few mins walk west of the hotel (see Google maps of Wurtzburg). That's where we left our car - if you were to leave the hotel, continue along Röntgenring (main road), cross the bridge, parking is down and on the right (you'll see it).
Hotel Spenkuch, Röntgenring 7, 97070 Würzburg, Germany - 0931 54752 Duncan
