Uluru National Park (Ayers Rock) Question about the weather in July - also tours
Posted: Thu April 20, 2006 07:10 PM UTC
Hi - I am interested in visiting Uluru in July but I don't really like hot weather, which for me is anything over 27 deg C. Can anyone tell me what the usual maximum temperature is in Uluru National Park area in July? Also - can anyone tell me if tours to this area are available out of Adelaide? Thanks.

The weather in Uluru at this time of year is perfect.
It can be cooler of a night and then about 23C during the day.
Here is a link for weather in 2005

There are tours that go from Adelaide.
If yoou can drive that would also be a great way to do it.It's a good highway from Adelaide to Uluru via Kings Canyon etc.

These are two that I found....put *tours from Adelaide to Uluru* there are a number that will come up.
Have a fantastic time, it's the most wonderful part of Aus.

HI! Phillip:

Anne is always a step ahead of me.

I do concur with her suggestions. It's a lovely time to be in the Red Centre. You're welcome to take a look at my VT Uluru pages and see if the tips are any useful.

No help about the "from Adelaide" bit - so I wish you good luck, mate!

Hi there,

Remember that July is winter in Australia, so July should be the perfect time. We just went to Uluru in early April and it wasn't too hot. The evenings/mornings were even a bit chilly. And it will only be cooler in July! I just checked weather.com and the averages there in July are average high of 17 C and avg low of 3 C. (http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/ASXX0005?from=36hr_bottomnav_business)
Have fun! It was an amazing place!
