How safe is Tirane, compared with citys like Budapest, Prague, Bukarest?

it“s suprisingly safe.
i never felt in danger even when i was walking home late at night carrying all my money.

the lack of tourists means that all the usual scams you see in places like prague and budapest have not arrived yet to tirana.

tirana is not the most beautiful town in the world, but it“s one of the friendliest and i“ll highly recommend it.

Hmmm...I guess it depends who you are and where you go.

I've had plenty of scary experiences in Tirana. As a result, I NEVER walk alone after 8pm. In my case, with blonde hair/blue eyes, I stand out like a sore thumb. I've been followed, been grabbed, had a man try to break into my apartment, etc. My friend was also dragged into a car but luckily was able to escape.

During the day I've had no problems. Most people are very friendly!

But as a young female that stands out in a crowd, not too safe.

I would say is very safe.people allso are more frendly than the bullgarians

I dont think it is the truth what you're saying.You should really have searched it.At least this is not for shure a common history.I've been living there for a year and never happened to me
