Hi,
I'll be in Egypt in 4 weeks and was wondering if Nefertari's Tomb is open?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
No the tomb is closed indefinitely, there are rumours that it will not open again. But in Egypt that could change tomorrow. We are going again in August and I wish it was open, I'd love to see it this time.
Have a good trip.

Well, from what I know it is closed. And will not be opened!! The treasures there are to delicate to expose to illiterate, selfish and disrespectful tourists.

Maybe I am hard in my comment but after 4 trips to Egypt, seeing people disregard the rules of not using flash or touching the murals, I am pleased that the tomb is closed.

I want this treasure to be there for my offspring to be cherished. If it were only in pictures.....

In this age we can do more ruin than the tomb robers did in their age.
Please let use reserve the little that is left.

Love, Dora.

Hi Dora,
I would love to be able to see Nefertari's tomb when I go back in August but I have to agree with you. I saw people taking flash pictures in King Tuts tomb and actually saw someone scratch their name on the Temple at Abu Simbel.
This selfish and moronic behaviour is unbelievable!
Regards from Australia.
