I am considering traveling to Naberezhnyye Chelny from Moscow in June. What is the easiest way to get there? Is it through Kazan'airport? Do trains run there from Kazan'?

hi
yes there are trains from Moscow to Naberezhnyi Chelnyi (every day). it is around 16 hours long (usually trains leave Moscow in evening and next morning you come to the point). They go through Kazan' in any way. So if you wish going faster by plane, yes, you land in Kazan' and then go by train. Busses are also available from Kazan' to Naberezhnyie Chelny.

Thank you! I think it may be a good idea to take the train over night and sleep while I travel. Are there busses or shuttles that I can take to the train station from the airport? How much time should I leave between the airport and the train departure?

there are no busses from Airport to railway stations at all. You should get public transport. Usually it is bus to the nearest metro station and then it is easily to get railway station (Kazansky Vokzal). I think you need 75-80 minutes for the whole way. of course, you may get taxi. in any way you can write to me what airport you will arrive and i write you back what kind of transport it is better to have.
