April to sept is low season.Best hotel is on pangkor laut, private owned island. The resort is called Pangkor Laut resort.
The other resort also 5 star is on the bigger island,Pangkor Island Beach Resort, very much cheaper.

Spent about 5 days on this island and I really enjoyed it. I was looking for maximum relaxing and I found it here. There are many places to stay, a lot of options for bungalows so you can take your pick. I used the following website to find the place I stayed and other information: http://www.pangkor.com.my/
My time here was spent on Pasir Bogak beach.
Enjoy your stay!
