| Córdoba | Winter in Cordoba Posted: Sun April 9, 2006 08:36 PM UTC
How cold does it get during the winter in Cordoba? Does it rain much during this time? I am thinking about visiting in late August/September. I don't mind traveling to places during the winter seasons, but just want to get an idea on just how cold it gets and what the precipitation levels might be.

| Córdoba | RE: Winter in Cordoba Posted: Sun April 9, 2006 09:22 PM UTC This is the link for Servicio Meteorológico Nacional and Cordoba in specific. http://www.meteonet.com.ar/?mod=pron&id=4& You can search there for the averages for August and September. I live in BA and Cordoba is a bit further north but the climate is similar. As long as I have been here it has never gone below freezing, but it does it get gray and cloudy and cold. September can be really nice here, still cool 14 to 18 c but sunny. You will have rainy days but I have not experienced too many periods of extended rain. Usually a day or so and then it clears. You will need a medium wieght jacket/coat, sweaters, light wool or heavy cotton clothes..I find it best to dress in layers that time of year. Oh and don't forget the big scarves for your neck...very Parisain here in that respect. suerte SAM

i'll just add to the above description that the rainy season is spring and not winter, so you needn't worry about precipitation levels in august/september.

Both August and September average about 60 cm of rain.
