When we first visited Skagway (10 years ago) some days of the week had fewer (or no) cruise ships than others. I have heard this is no longer the case. When we visit this summer (driving) are there some days we should aim for when things will be less crowded??

Wednesday is the really bad one, with 5 ships common (that's ca. 10,000 people!). Friday and Saturday are the best - usually 2 ships. There are no longer any no-ship days. Skagway's ship calendar is online at http://www.skagway.com/06skagwayshipsched.pdf
