I will be visiting Toledo, for the first time, at the end of June 2006.
As a Sefardi coming from Eretz-Israel, I'm going to explore the JUDERIA, and I'll be more than glad to meet local brothers/ systers !!

Ah, good choice. I love Toledo and I've been there many times, the juderia is one of my favourite places. The jew community not only lived in the Jewry, also around the cathedral, so I suggest you to take a night walk not only around the jewry, also around the Cathedral and the Alcazar, there is a lot of legends and stories to enjoy. At "Calle del Angel" (Rejov Angel) you can find "La Casa De Jacob", a judaica shop and a information point of the Jewish Toledo. Is managed by a spanish jew very nice.
I suggest tou also to visit the 2 sinagogues, especially "La sinagoga del Tránsito", at rejov Samuel Levi, very beautyful, there you can also visit the Sefardi Museum.

Best wishes from Spain, I hope you'll enjoy.
