can anyone help! ive been g0ing to salou since 1990 and been every where except tarragona .i would like to go shopping with my six yr old daugher. how far is the shopping mall from the bus stop. i know travel times etc. is it ok to walk around just me and my daughter. sorry to ask this ... is there a mc donald s not for me honest! is the beach near? its going to be a girlie day while the footballs on .i do speak very good spanish so i would,nt get lost any other info would be good thanx....

Check out my Tarragona page. From Salou, it is probably easiest just to take the train to Tarragona. From the train station, the beach is ~10 minute walk. The station is almost on the beach, but to get there, you have to walk the long way around the station and a brick wall.

From the station, you could walk ~20 minutes or take a ~4 minute taxi to the Eroski shopping mall. (I honestly don't know the exact location of the bus stop)

thanks for that ill get the train ,im staying the cambrils side of salou anyway. i have been on the renfe train site the train times are very regular.i will also have a look at your site thanx again .adios x

sorry me again read your site very intresting we were there in 2003 one morning it was 40 degrees at 10 am and we just had to be on a boat sailing around salou .(not a good idea!)..got a fantastic tan that yr .

I was also there in 2003. My work was outside, all day everyday. 4 of my workers were hospitalized for heat stroke that summer. Ugly month that was!!
