Sure, you can take the bus all the way. There are a few options:
Amphissa is very close to Delphi, so you can easily take a cab there from Delphi. From Larisa, there are busses to Kalambaka.
The schedule you want is:
Larisa to Arta, with stops in Trikala and Kalambaka.
See the schedule here: http://www.ktel.org/en/popup.asp?line_id=1137&season=1
To make this bus, you have to be in Larisa at 10:00am. (But it's everyday.)
Alternatively, you can try to catch a bus directly from Amphissa to Kalambaka (there is one several times a week in the afternoon). Schedule here: http://www.ktel.org/en/popup.asp?line_id=1003&season=1
Or, you can get a bus to Lamia and try to catch the Athens-> Grevena bus which stops in Lamia and Kalambaka (and Trikala). http://www.ktel.org/en/popup.asp?line_id=941&season=1
Be careful though -- sometimes they won't let you buy a ticket on a bus from a different prefecture if it's just passing through and there are local options. But if it's really your only option, you should be fine.
It's not a bad idea to call the KTEL people (try the Amphissa station) and ask their advice. They'll certainly be able to find more than I can. http://www.ktel.org/en/tel.asp for phone numbers
