Well, here I was just about to buy my ticket, but it was three days earlier than I wanted, so I called my brother to check this was okay, but he is having problems at his end.

So it looks like my trip is off, maybe until later in the year. I'm not happy because I was looking forward to it & I need the break!

Thanks Don & Lucille, this makes me wish I hadn't been relying on my brother for somewhere to stay, but that is what had decided the venue. Its a bad time for him to develop "domestic difficulties". I just hope they work things out. In the meantime I need a holiday, its short notice, and I dont want to impose on anyone. Time I looked around!

Yes too bad you couldn't have come to Michigan, the time you had planned is a great time of year with the summer festivities.

Fall is also a good time with the autumn colors, and also X-Mas time!

Don, if only you had a spare room! lol

I've been researching cruises in the baltic region, so far I'm told the cabin doors are too narrow for a wheelchair. I'm sure there must be facilities but I have to get past the lazy call centre operators - after all by 2006 if they cant cater to disabled people, they cant sell holidays in England either!
