Can one walk around the grounds/trails after the tours are over (around 1900)? How close can you get to either of them? (i.e. could I walk to Mary's bridge?) Danke! I'd like to get some shots of the castles without the hoards of people around. Can one walk around the grounds/trails after the tours are over (around 1900)? How close can you get to either of them? (i.e. could I walk to Mary's bridge?) Danke!

Both castles were lighted, while I was there last time, but the light was rather low. The bigger problem is that you have to walk through the woods in the dark (depending on the season) - it is e.g. getting dark there today at around 07.00p.m.!
Maybe you can catch the last bus to drive to the castle, take your pics and walk down again.
