I Need Help

Hi
I am arriving in Negombo on 14th April Morning at 5-25AM and again i will leave from Negombo at 7 PM on same day.

So i need to know which are the places i can visit in Negombo in this time.

Since you have less than 24 hours you can consider visiting Colombo for some shopping which is about 1 hours drive from Negombo. You can hire a car to get to Colombo. Expect to pay about $30 for a return trip.

I will also put up at Negambo on 12th April for abt 12hrs in day.
Please give tips on transportation to Colombo and good place for shopping.

Hi,

The best would be to hire a car and a driver to come to colombo as you have limited time in hand. You can also use public transport which is quite cheap but not recommended in your case since you are new to the country.

There are plenty of places to shop in Colombo,... you should visit, Bare foot, Paradise Road, Gallery, ODEL, Arena, Majestic City, Crestcat and if you want clothing for very cheap do visit the House of Fashion in Colombo 3. Crestcat and Majestic city are two shopping malls where you will find basically anything you need.
