Beer Price in Prague?

I had a friend go to Prague a couple of days ago, last year when I when beer was about .75 USD, he said he gave 2 to 3 USD with a (Service Charge) has it gone up that much?

I think it depends where you go. I was there in 1995 and at the most touristic places (U Fleku and outdoors at Staromestske Namesti) they charged the equivalent of 2-3 USD, while the less touristy bars charged ca. .50 dollar. The increase doesn't sound very dramatic to me.

Hi,
regular price of beer is between 0,4-0.8 USD / half litre in the pubs. Sure on the tourists places you can buy it for 2,3 USD (but round the corner it costs 1 USD :-)

If you like the Czech dark beer I still recommend a visit to U Fleku, which brews its own. Pricy, but good.

Uz dlouho jsem takovou hospodu nepotkal a rad bych zase takovou nasel:)))
Actually I think price for beer starts at 0,6 USD. Anyway it is the best and cheapest beer from all over the world.

Jasne, zrovna minulej tejden jsem v jedny hospe narazil na pivo za 10,- . (Ale souhlasim, ze to je vyjimka - bezne za patnact....). Dej mi chvilku, musim si vzpomenout, kde to bylo....
