| Lucca | Lucca Easter Monday Posted: Sun March 26, 2006 08:38 AM UTC
Have booked to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa Easter Monday and then planned to head to Lucca later in the day. Is it going to be worth it or is everything going to be closed?

Hi Julie,
Lucky you! Italy at Easter! I have been to Pisa and Lucca several times, although not at Easter. I am sure because of the tourisum there will be plenty open. Perhaps not as many shops as usual, but certainly Restaurants and places of interest would be. I don't know if you have been before, but Lucca is a particularly lovely place, lots of places to eat, very historical, an amazing walled city, well worth a wonder around even if there are a a few places closed. I hope you enjoy it! Julia
