Cameroon Travel Forum

Hi,

I am planning to travel from Cameroon to Ghana, but am having extreme difficulty in finding out information about potential travel options. From my online searches, it would seem that there are no direct flights between the two countries. Has anyone done this route before?

Also, I keep reading online and in guidebooks that there is some sort of boat service between Tema (near Accra) in Ghana and Cameroon, but I can't find details on this anywhere. Does anyone know if this is true? Is service regular? Is it expensive?

Basically, I'm looking for info on how to travel between these two countries by any means necessary. I'm also willing to travel overland if need be, but am worried this will be very time-consuming and expensive since I'll have to pay for visas to various countries en-route and find places to stay.

There are flights from Douala to Accra but you have to go via Lagos.
