| Durban | Lake St Lucia level Posted: Sat March 25, 2006 04:41 PM UTC
We are visiting the St Lucia Area in September. We were last there in 2004 when the level of the lake was very low and much of the wildlife had moved on!
Has there been any significant rainfall recently and the level of water risen? We would love to visit again but will leave in to another trip if the lake is still low. Thanks for any information you can give |

This was the situation in Dec 2005:
http://www.kznwildlife.com/drought_dec05.htm Mail the folk on that site for an update. Or dial this number for the tourist info office in St. Lucia: +27 35 590-1247
