I ll be going to Cornell in late June To July. Where is a place I can relax, have great food and meet people at night as in the am i ll be attending classes.

Both the Collegetown area (just outside the south entrance of Cornell campus) and the Ithaca Commons (downtown) meet your requirements. There are tons of great bars and restaurants in both places. Just make sure you find housing within walking distance of one or the other and you will be fine.
