Switzerland is a signatory to the Schengen Agreement, so I'm 99% sure a Schengen visa and your passport is all you need. But contact the Swiss Embassy or a Swiss Consulate in your home country (or, if you're in Paris already, the Swiss embassy there) to make sure.

Enjoy your trip!

It depends on your nationality.
According to the webpage of the Swiss Consulate in Paris, only people from certain countries could get into Switzerland with a Schengen visa. Please check
http://www.eda.admin.ch/paris_emb/f/home/cons_home/cons_visa.html
(info in French only, didn't find English info)
So I would agree with the rest.... first check with the Swiss consulate in the city of France you are residing now about your case
In case you need the visa, it takes one day to get it. That is, you make your application one day and pick your visa the next day.

Flor de Maria

Switzerland has signed the Schengen agreement but will effectively enforce it only in 2007 - until this date they still apply specific rules.
