Essaouira Travel Forum

We are a family that are coming to Morocco this summer. We are two adults and 3 children ( aged 15, 12 and 10 ).

We would like to find a place to stay in Essaouira for the nights of 23, 24, 25 August 2006. We are not looking for anything too grand, just a nice place to stay that at a fair price. We would also love to have the opportunity to meet with ordinary Moroccan people, perhaps even the opportunity for the boys to play some football as well.

If you have availability for these dates can you please confirm the details by email ( price per person per night or price per room ) and say what is included in the price etc.

If you have a web page can you please provide the address or email a few photo's of the Hotel / Room / Gite etc

i think you might like Hotel Cap Sim where ive just stayed with a friend. in a very handy spot and we liked the price - very cheap for us actually. you might be able to find an apartment cheaper - and there are some tips about that ive read somewhere in the essaouira vt pages or in previous forums so you might just need to do a search.
and its true i used to stay at apartments for about 200 dirham a night, often cheaper than that, but for places like asilah, marrakech,oualidia,tangier. and that means self continued and usually with a couple of bedrooms whic for your family might be ideal!
