I will be travelling through French Giuana in Decemeber 2006 and would like to travel to Brazil to see the Amazon.
Can anybody give me tips about flights or overland travel to Brazil? Thanks, j. |

Overland is out as far I as I know. And the only air link that I am aware of is Air Surinam, they did have connecting flights from Cayenne to Belem and Macapa, Brazil. Not sure where you can get to from there but I am sure Varig or Tam would have flights on to other destinations in Brazil. But good luck, FG is pretty isolated from the rest of South America.

Be careful and do not go out at night alone unless you take a taxi both ways.
