| Padova | Can anyone recommend a 2/3 star hotel (or apartment?) for 2 nights in Padova? Posted: Tue March 21, 2006 08:33 PM UTC
We will be travelling to the west coast of Italy in June/July this year, finishing off with a 2-night stay in Padova in order to take my mother-in-law into Venice for the day. We require 2 rooms (double + child bed and a single) somewhere that is't too far from the railway station. Can anyone recommend a a nice hotel? If an apartment renter would be OK with just a 2-night stay, that would be great, too. Grazie!

I think the Hotel Al Cason is just what you are looking for. It is at most a 10 minute walk from the train station and we found it a very good value. You can read more on my page about it at:

Cason will be a good choice ... very close to the station, 10 min on foot but a little far from the city centre. I suggest Casa del Pellegrino so close to the Basilica of Saint Anthony and the beautiful square Prato della Valle. For more do surf here
