We are planning to visit Napflio and were wondering if Mycenae and Corinth are worth a visit too. If so, how much time can we expect to spend there?

do not go to Corinth. It is nice but combine Mycanae with a two day trip to Nauplio.

Both are absolutely worth a visit.
Two hours is an absolute min. for Corinthos. But if in addition to classical Greece, you are also interested in early Christian history, you will spend much more time here.

Three hours is a min. for Mycenae.

GKE's suggestion to make this a two day trip is very good:
leave Athens in early the morning, visit Corinthos, continue to Nafplio.
Visit Nafplio in afternoon, stay overnight in Nafplio.
Next morning, visit Mycenae and return to Athens.

Note this does not allow time for a visit to Epidavros, which is very much worthwile as well. Add one more night in Nafplio to visit Epidavros.

Both are worth visiting.
BTW Napflio is amazing... absolutely amazing.
