Most of the Carribean attracts couples, honeymooners, etc. What is the singles scene like in St. Maarten? Is it better on the Dutch or French side? I'm planning a weekend trip (3/25-3/27) and wanted some insight. Thanks.

Didnt notice the couples, married etc. St. Maarten is so small if you stay on either the Dutch or French side you will meet/see them...But if you rent a car you can drive simply in no time from one to another beach and choose the one you like ! Once I went on the beach on the northeast side of the island, it started to rain so I packed my things and drove to the west side of the island....no rain and all day sunshine !
