My last visit to Hatyai was 5 yrs back.Visited a few night life places....for this trip I'm joined by a free lance travel journalist.Would appreciate if anyone could advise on the following :-
1. Disco clubs/jazz bars - address & name. 1. Go-go bars/top less bars - address & name. 2. Strip joints or "tiger shows" - address & name.( I heard that there's two of such joints...I've been to one but could not remember the locality ) TQ. |

Wow!
Sounds like you're really going to paint the town red!! The best advice I can give you is to concentrate around the main shopping streets of Hat Yai and the hotels. There is an area just around the Garden Home and the Florida hotels, but it is very much a local Thai place. For go-go and other bars, and other shows, I suggest you go to one of the many travel agencies that are around the main streets. They can easily arrange tickets for the shows you want. By the way, these agencies can also give you a very good rate for hotels which will be far cheaper than if you walk-in. Hat Yai is strictly a very local town catering to many Malaysian and Singaporean travellers who come for the nightlife and food. You may not find that many entertainment localities catering to "farang" (western foreigners) like in Bangkok or Pattaya, etc.

Go-go bars/top less bars There are NO go-go bars or topless bars in Hatyai. You have to go to Danok for that. The closest you can get are sexy dancers at these places. Strip joints or "tiger shows" There's only one place now which is at the 2nd floor of SC Heritage hotel. The previous 2 places at Hatyai Palace Hotel and Hatyai Inter Hotel have closed down.
