I am travelling to Ciudad del Carmen for work next week, and would like any information available. Dining, sightseeing, bar/tavern/clubs, etc. Thanks!

There is not much to see in Cd. del Carmen but strip-clubs (low quality). The city is rather small and not beautiful. You should try eating at El Pavo, a small and popular shrimp restaurant where you can have 1Kg prepared according to your preference for about 15USD.

hi --
if you have not already done so, you should check the VT members' tips for ciudad del carmen. to do this, enter "ciudad del carmen" in the upper righthand box marked "search" (leave the other box set on "destinations"). this will take you to a page that lists all of the places in the world named ciudad del carmen. click on the one for mexico. this will take you to a sort of master page for ciudad del carmen, where you will find all sorts of info on restaurants, things to do, tourist traps, etc. -- susie margaret
