Did anyone use Raylenne safaris and stay in either the tents or the Masa Sopa Lodge? We are two teachers, mother and daughter, traveling on a budget and need to maximize our experience in a 4-5 day safari. How rough is the camping?
Are the camps inside or outside the reserve? How likely is it to rain in August and can you be totally rained out? thanks for any help. peace for your journey. |

Went with Planet Safari when I was there. 5 days, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru for under 300. Camp was OK, not very rough at all. Showers cold though.
One of the best things about Planet for those on a budget is that if you go on their safari they let you stay at their place in Nairobi for free. May not be good if your kid if very young though. Not sure if they have a web page but if you ask at the airport when you arrive youll be able to get there no prob.
