Monthly expenses?

Hello all,

I will move soon with my wife and 2 years old son to Dublin, and I am wondering how much would be the total monthly expenses including rental, food, transportation, ...etc (talking about average life standard).

I appreciate any input.

You must have been living on baked beans! I think the baby in our case used up that allowance alone! :o)

We moved from Dublin to allegedly the most expensive city in Europe, Oslo, and we've saved ourselves a fortune. I'd echo Tartu's other ballpark figures though. Believe me, it's not cheap.

Thank you for all replays so far. Actually I am looking to understand what will be the amount I need to take in year to live so good in Dublin and also save. Meaning I have family of three and I want to have good appartment, good food on table and not to count each euro - what is the sallary in Dublin will allow me to live good.
