Hello Oh-worldly-ones!
Can anybody give me an idea of how long it would take to drive from Valparaiso to Pucón? Also, we will be visiting in April. What type of weather should I expect in Pucón at that time. Thanks, Kelly Anne |

Hi, Kelly Anne.
Driving from Santiago to Pucón is about 9 hours. It should be 1 or 2 hours more from Valpo. (there's about 900 Km between Valpo. and Pucón). On April it would probably start to be rainy... as it is normally in Southern Chile specially in Winter, but it can be even in Summer. But you could also be lucky and have some sunny days. Sometimes, the weather in that zone can be better in March than February (the month most people take vacations in Chile), but you never know. April is already Autumn so it's going to start to be cold and rainy, but I think you can still enjoy it. If it rains, you can go to the termal springs.
