Nagoya Any ideas on things to do during a 5 hr. layover at Chubu International?

I will be arriving at the Chubu International Airport with two children (6/10 yrs.). We will have a 5 hour layover. Any suggestions of things we can do close by?

Hi! Welcome to Japan :-)

I've never been to Chubu International Airport, but I hear they have a public bath (Men and women are segregated)

Japanese people like public bath and, it might be interesting for you to take a bath there.

Hope this helps :-)

Hi! Also check: www.centrair-spottour.jp/lang/e/html/default.html
From Centrair/Chubu airport it takes 30 minutes to go to Nagoya City and 45 minutes to Nagoya Castle by train.
But you'll come with young children. As AyurinHiro said, it might be better that you use relaxation facilities (bath, kids square etc.) in the airport.

Regards

Are you connecting to a international flight?
If you are, then you will be in the "Transite" area and will not be able to leave the airport.
If you want to leave, then you will have to clear immigration and customs.
5 hours is pretty tight to do much other than to go outside and come right back in, at least you can get your passport stamped ;)
