Hiya,

I was wondering how long it would take to go to Kota Bharu from KL. What's the best mode of transport recommended?

Can anyone help with this address: 1264 Jalan Sultanah Zainab?

I'm trying to track down a long lost friend: Wan Mansor Wan Ahmed

Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

can take a bus from sentral or pudu raya bus station.I used to drive up pretty easy by the karak highway n use the Gua musang way via jertih which is nearer than following the coastal route via kuala trengganu.around 4 to 5 hrs.Get a map n drive.

Oh ,i want to add that from KB u can hop over to thailand,Sungei Golok.Just park yr car at rantau panjang ,petrol kiosk just before the bridge n walk over the border crossing.they charge u for parking on a per day basis.Ask around there are also private sheds for parking also on a daily basis.

Hi!

Most buses (if not all) going to KB will use the scenic & longer coastal route, taking approx 8hrs journey frm KL. Take note that buses to the Kota Baharu & the East Coast depart frm Terminal Putra & not frm Puduraya bus station.

Ya, Onion was right, there are almost all buses take off at Putra Terminal which is near Putra World Trade Centre, you can take Star LRT to the putra terminal.

Anyway, it is an alternative that you can take train to Kelantan too.... you can drop off at Wakaf Bahru.... I love this the most as you wake up in the early morning, you are in the mist of the thick jungle.

why bother with the long road trip... just fly... budget airline air asia has direct flights from klia to kota baru... and it may be cheaper than the bus fare... or that you may be interested in the scenery along the way (not much really)...
