Anyone know how I can get to see the Whirlpool by bus or train. I will be staying in Kyoto. Will not be able to drive. There is a bridge I understand or can see it from Awaji Island.

Yeah. It is very famous Naruto whirlpool, eastern Tokushima!!
Please try this site. http://www.tokushima-kankou.or.jp/ You can go to Naruto by train via Okayama. And there is "Awa Express Bus" from Kyoto station (Karasuma side). Have a nice trip.
