New Mexico	Bird Hunting Posted: Wed February 15, 2006 08:57 PM UTC I will probably be moving to ABQ this summer to for my medical residency training and would like to bird hunt in the fall. Are there public areas for upland birds or ducks that are within an hour or two drive? I saw on the NM wildlife webpage that there are WMA's around the state, with a few south of ABQ.
