Hi!

I'm kinda new to VT.

My partner and I are going to NYC in a couple of weeks. Has anybody stayed at the Southgate Tower hotel??

Thanks

Si.

I had my sister's bridal shower there. We had a suite with an efficiency and was a good price to accommodate 4 people in the room. I checked out other hotels but this had the best price for the size.

Just to let you know that it is just about across the street from penn station.

If you do decide to stay there, don't forget to try some of the korean restaurants on 32nd street.

feel free to contact me with any questions :)

Thanks for your advice - i will be checkig those out!. I have decided to stay the the southgate tower after all.

I have been to New York before but stayed in the Pennsylvania (which was very dirty and dusty by the way!!)

i've stayed at the Southgate Towers several times, and I always insist on staying there when I go to New York. It's fairly affordable, has big rooms and even a kitchen. It's really a nice place to stay. The rooms aren't all that fancy, but who needs fancy when you've got a kitchen and big room?
The only thing I would recommend is getting a room on the highest floor as possible. There is a police precinct on one side of the hotel and a fire station on the other, and Madison Square Gardens across the street, so the noise can be pretty bad in the summer.
