My fiance and i are planning our honeymoon and are having a difficult time deciding between the sheraton morea and the pearl. The beach and the water are more important to us than the accomodations. Any suggestions??

I can speak from personal experience... the Sheraton Moorea is unbelievable!! We spent 7 days there, but did not want to leave. Secluded, yet all the tours for the island leave from there easily.

The other big bonus is that you can save Starwood Points... which means more free nights later on down the track. SPG.com is where you sign up for this. If you have the money, I would recommend the horizon over-water bungalow. It was phenomenal, and my wife and I (honeymooned there) enjoyed waking up every morning to go snorkel!

G'day. As Mark said (Hiya Mark)the Sheraton is the best!! We stayed there on our 2ND honeymoon years ago when it was known as the Moorea Lagoon. Had a magnificant time. The water is crystal clear, snorkling is fabulous and I'm sure it's come along way since we were there!! Did have a fun night crab racing. Hubby got on well with the local band and joined in with them. The locals are really lovely and they used to put fresh flowers around the sink in the bathrooms every day. You'll just love it!! Oh and welcome to vt!! Don't forget to stick around and share your pix with all of us here...make us jealous haha. Cheers, Ann :o)
