Victoria Falls Activities at Vic. Falls
Posted: Sun February 5, 2006 05:55 PM UTC
I am planning on going to Vic. Falls in May. I have booked my flights and accomodation. My question is if I should also book activities in advance or is it ok to wait until you get there - things like a flight over the falls, bungee jump (!), crocodile farm etc There are websites selling these activities in advance. Is it wise to book now? Is there a risk there will be long lines when I get there? Does anybody have expereinces of this?

Hi there,
I was there two and half years ago. Victoria Falls is a VERY touristic place. Therefore, I don't really think you need to book everything in advance. All you need to do is book a hotel, a transfer from airport to your hotel, a trip to the national park. Other things, or say everything, can be settled locally. I really miss that place and also my hostel- Lorrie's place.
Bon voyage!!

Hiya,

I was there 3.5 yrs ago, & bungeed off the bridge linking zamb & zimb, was great fun!

However, it wasn't cheap by Zimb stds.. paid 90USD, no way out! Co was African Extreme 'Bungi'.. DON'T opt for their videoing u, cos my cuz bought it for 45USD, and they barely videoed his fall. Instead i lent my camcorder to a friend & he videoed my recoil, spinning, waving, everything!!

This co is very well organised.. lots of tourists, but that is good news.. safety! And i swear my no in the queue (they write your wgt & q no) was 13.. I'm still in 1 piece!!

Have fun
