my husband and i are living in osaka, where its cold. we want to see some snow, and i know we can go somewhere for a day, but i dont know where would be good. any recommendations? i was thinking somewhere in shiga.

When I was living in Himeji, many of my friends went skiing in Tottori Prefecture. You might want to head there to see snow. There are some hot springs near the sand dunes. Yumura Onsen I think it was. It can be a day trip from Osaka.
