I'm going to be in Madrid from late May until the begining of July. My friends and I would like to go to the Running of the Bulls. Haven't been able to find alot of info on the web. Any and all tips, details, stories, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It runs july 7 through July 14. Lodging is free if you want to sleep in the park. For an average hotel it runs about 180 euro per night for two. Sometimes you can find a room to rent by asking around. The hotels start booking in mid March. Some of them will be booked already. Check out my page. It is one of my favorite things to do and I will be back again this year. Karl

Don't want to be a party pooper ... but you only have one body and spare parts are scarce and don't fit as well as the original. I like having fun - but risking coming back a bit remodeled - no thanks! Would LOVE to go and watch - but will save my running for the Bay to Breakers!

OK, having done it first hand, I can say that it is safer in the corridor with the bulls than in the street with all the drunk revelers...

Hey man, i'm heading to the festival too, depends how long your staying there for, i don't plan on getting a room while i'm there just gonna lock what little i have in the train station, you could keep your passport in your pocket and sew the pocket up or in a money belt under your clothes thats what i'll prob do. i'm just gonna sleep in the park. But if your there more a few days that might not be the best idea. When you gonna be there?

I'll be in Pamplona with my friend on July 6th. We are staying in the parks too. Gonna stay for 3 days. Should be fun!
