Queenstown Best ski - Best nightlife

My nephew has given me the task of finding out about these ski areas and their night
life: Treble Cone - Cardrona - The Remarkables - Coronet Peak and Waioran.

If you have a moment to give me your opinion as to the better ski area and the most active nightlife, it would be much appreciated.

these ski areas are just that - ski fields. the resorts here are not on the mountain like usa and europe. queenstown is nearest town to coronet peak and remarkables and has more night life than Wanaka which is nearest town to Treble Cone and cardrona

Thank you for taking time to give me a better perspective of the ski areas. We'll look in Queensland for accommodations.

You're very welcome. Let me know if you need any more information. I LOVE Italy and hope to be back in Europe for your summer so you may get an email from me :-)

Ciao

Daniel

My favourite ski field is Cardrona and then the Remarkables. Cardrona can take over an hour to get to from Queenstown but is well worth it. Remarkables is about 40 minutes. We had bus passes that went with the ski package and its a much easier solution than driving yourself.
The nightlife in Queenstown is fantastic. Just wander into town and walk around, check all the bars out etc. Its not so great in Wanaka however, Wanaka is closer to Cardrona.

Hi There

It depends on their skiing ability and where they are staying. As a local skier my favourite fields are Coronet Peak and Treble Cone.

The great thing is that no matter what their ability they will find a field to suit.

It is a good idea to keep an eye on snow conditions close to their arrival time.

Queenstown's official tourism website is www.queenstown-nz.co.nz and worth checking out.
